Sonos

We use the Sonos system (www.sonos.com) to distribute music — sourced from our internal music server and from internet radio — throughout our house (via ethernet and wireless).

After the utter demise of CBC Radio 2 in Canada in 2008, we were forced to change our radio listening habits (we still miss waking up to Tom Allen). The interface of the Sonos makes internet radio listening a joy, as both stations and shows can be easily bookmarked. As well, setting up the Sonus is dead simple: press two buttons et voilà.
